We are pleased to invite you to the fourteenth Annual International Conference LSP – Theory and Method, Translation and Didactics. The conference aims to bridge the gap between language and subject teaching by exploring recent trends and new findings in the area of Language for Specific Purposes.

 

We invite researchers and practitioners in the area of LSP and translation to submit proposals of paper presentations addressing topics including (but by no means limited to) the following:

 

  • LSP as interdisciplinary research 

  • LSP and intercultural professional communication 

  • IT  and LSP teaching

  • LSP translation in terms of linguistics and cross-cultural professional communication – theory and method

Guidelines for submissions

Prospective participants are invited to send their papers to the organising committee of the conference by email fldpt.conference.law.msu@gmail.com

 

Submission deadline: 1 November 2021

The subject heading should include the session of your choice, the name of the speaker and the title of the paper (e.g. English №1, I.Ivanov, “The language of law: theory and practice”, Moscow State University)

 

Please, include the information about the author (full name, academic titles, place of employment, position and contact details) in the email. 

 

The text of the paper should be submitted as an MS Word file attachment (500 words maximum, 14 point Times New Roman, single space, margins – 2 cm each). The text should be preceded by the full name of the author, academic title (if applicable), position and place of employment – in the top right-hand corner.

 

References should be presented in accordance with the Russian standards of references. 

PLEASE NOTE that we are unable to cover the costs of any of the fees related to your participation in the event. Costs related to travel, accommodation and transportation will be your own responsibility.
